Education, ironically everybody has the wrong mindset that educations is only get at a school, and it was very extraneous that when I was browsing the meaning of education on internet, I found that Google defines education as, â€Å"The process of receiving or giving systematic instruction, especially at a school or university.† Did you read that? If not let me make it clear to you, â€Å"ESPECIALLY AT A SCHOOL OR UNIVERSITY.† It is very strange to me that most people have the ideology that education is especially learned at an institution, but for me education can be learn anywhere because it is nothing else than the willingness of a person to discover new concepts of the complexity things that are around us. There is a very interesting quote that†¦show more content†¦Her name was Alexa, a young girl that was around her twenty-six years, and when I asked her about what she thought about education, she said, â€Å"Education is the willingness of somebody to cl ear their doubts no matter how hard they are.† She explained to me that American parents usually blamed professors for the lack of knowledge of their kids, but they never understand that such lack of knowledge is because kids only spend time learning at school and never study after class. She was so young but wise. I have never thought that a young person could have such mentality. She was right because according to the graphs that the journalist Olivia Goldhill provided in her article, â€Å"Homework around the world: how much is too much?† That was published in 2015, â€Å"a 15-years-old American student spends 6.1 hours per week when it comes to doing homework.† If we brake those hours down on days, an American High School student would be spending an hours per day with regard to homework. I am not making this a shame, but if teens are spending nine hours per day using social media as the Digital Correspondent Editor-at-Large of CNN Kelly Wallace establis hed on her article, â€Å"Teens spend a mind-boggling 9 hours a day using media, report says.† Why teens cannot spend more time on educating themselves?
